Books for Keeps has been published six times per year for the last 30 years and is now fully available for free online thanks to Drupal experts purkiss ltd.

With over 10,000 reviews of children's books, information on over 6,500 authors and illustrators plus industry news and views, booksforkeeps.co.uk is poised to become the community hub for children's books onlilne.

The site is now launched in beta with a view to developing the community functionality further - currently there are discussion forums and bookmarking; ideas for the future are groups, lists, and collaborative book authoring.

purkiss ltd. were involved in all parts of the project, providing both the back end development and the information architecture.
